Child Safety Standards
Silarah is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation in every form and act on credible reports promptly.
Use the in-app report tool or email safety@silarah.com. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate child-protection authority first.
1. Adults only
Members must be at least 18 years old and legally able to use the service. A person who is or appears to be under 18 may be removed or suspended while age is assessed. Adults may not create matrimonial profiles for minors.
2. Zero tolerance for exploitation
Silarah prohibits grooming, sexualization of minors, solicitation, trafficking, sextortion, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), synthetic or altered exploitative imagery, requests for such material, and links or instructions that facilitate abuse.
3. Content and conduct
Members must not upload, request, send, describe, promote, normalize or threaten to distribute exploitative content involving a minor. Attempts to move a suspected minor off-platform, conceal age, evade safety controls or retaliate against a reporter are prohibited.
4. Reporting and blocking
Members can block and report profiles or conversations in the app. Reports may include the relevant account, message and safety context needed for review. Do not download, forward or redistribute suspected CSAM in order to report it.
5. Review and enforcement
We may immediately restrict access, preserve necessary evidence, remove content, suspend or permanently ban accounts, prevent re-registration, and escalate serious matters. Safety action can occur without advance notice when needed to protect a child or preserve an investigation.
6. CSAM response
When we become aware of apparent CSAM, we take steps to restrict access, preserve only what is necessary and lawful, and report to the relevant authority or designated reporting organization where required. Staff access is limited to authorized safety handling.
7. Cooperation with authorities
Silarah responds to valid legal requests and cooperates with lawful investigations consistent with applicable law, member rights and evidence-preservation duties.
8. Safety contact
Our designated child-safety contact is safety@silarah.com. Product support is available at support@silarah.com.
