Delete your account
You can start account deletion here even when you cannot open or reinstall Silarah.
Email us from the address registered to your Silarah account. This lets us verify the request without asking you to send an identity document by ordinary email.
Delete in the app
Open Profile → Settings → Delete Account, choose a reason and type DELETE. This is the fastest verified route.
Verification
Send the request from your registered email address. We may ask for proportionate account information if ownership is unclear. Never email a government ID unless Silarah gives you a specific secure upload route.
What is deleted
After the recovery period, we remove or de-identify your authentication account, profile, preferences, uploaded photos, private media, interests, matches, messages, notification tokens and other user-linked service data, subject to limited lawful retention.
What may be retained
We may retain the minimum information required for payment and tax records, legal obligations, fraud and abuse prevention, security, dispute resolution, enforcement history and proof of consent. Retained records are restricted from discovery and marketing.
Timeline and recovery
Deletion normally enters a 30-day recovery period. Where recovery remains available, signing in during that period may cancel the request. Purging begins after the recovery period; encrypted backup copies expire through normal backup rotation.
Subscriptions
Deleting a Silarah account does not cancel Google Play or Apple billing. Cancel the subscription in the relevant store first. Deletion does not automatically create a refund.
